my savvy secret...{that's not so secret}

I have gotten several emails about photographing

indoors with low light.

{It was a dark and gloomy day when the following pictures were taken}.

The most important thing is a great lens.

I use my Nikon 50mm 1.4 lens for practically everything...

I love this lens!

I tell all my clients that ask me how they can take really great images in their home that this is the lens to get...you will use it {and love it}.

gracing my walls...

Just a peek at what is gracing my walls...

We just moved in four months ago {seems like we've been here forever} so there are many pictures leaning against the walls still.

Not sure if those will ever get up "on the wall' but they are still gracing the wall...right?

Where does my inspiration start...

my home...and the things that surround me there.

And decorating on a budget is my way of decorating. I love finding things on sale {or just great deals} and making them work for my style.
